#HELPPOST! Dear Respected Greater Boston Nepali Community and Media Persons Namaste🙏
We all are aware that the whole world is suffering from the unprecedented infection of deadly COVID-19 (Corona Virus). As of 3/26/2020, we have 68,000 cases in USA with 1061 deaths and 1848 cases with 16 deaths in our State of Massachusetts. As a community member we are very worried for the public safety of the community and especially our Nepali Community living in the Greater Boston Area. There are so many non- profit and ethnic Nepali community organizations in the greater Boston Area to preserve and promote the Nepali culture and heritage and now its time to help the fellow community members who is a victim of this deadly virus.
We will continuously monitor the notifications from the Local and State government to inform our community members. We strictly urge our community members to use the strict precautionary measures to avoid the spread of deadly Corona Virus.
We urge all the Nepali Community Organizations in Greater Boston Area to closely monitor for any positive COVID-19 cases and also report us at gbncboston@gmail.com. GBNC will take a lead as a community organization to help the Nepali Community at this tough time.
